Have you noticed there seem to be lots of lovely new arrivals this time of year? These little bundles are so precious that it’s natural for new mums and dads (and grandparents for that matter) to feel a sense of overwhelm, as well as pure excitement.
It’s a time when the most important thing is the whole wide world is how can we provide the best care to protect and nourish our little babies. HoneyBliss is all about protecting and nourishing skin the natural way, with no nasty chemicals.
Using only natural products and using organic ingredients as much as we possibly can, we’ve created some of the best natural baby products that soothe, nourish, relax and heal your baby’s skin.
The benefits of using natural alternatives means mums and dads can relax and so can baby. But how does it benefit the baby’s skin and why does it help everyone relax? We all know our sense of smell as well as touch is incredibly therapeutic, well it’s the same for your wee baby too and of course toddlers and children. Take a look at our list of some of the ingredients we lovingly blend to use in our skincare for babies range:
- Active manuka honey – where do we start with the benefits of active manuka honey. With its antibacterial, antifungal and antimicrobial properties it promotes healthy skin. If your wee baby has a bit of eczema or cradle cap, our baby skincare products will see it simply disappear. This is what one happy, relaxed mum had to say after using our baby bee balm – “I notice Harrison doesn’t get spots or blemishes. At the first sign of cradle cap I massage a little into his hair and it’s gone”. Wonderful news for mum and baby
- Essential oils – organic lavender, mandarin and roman chamomile. These gorgeous essential oils are soothing, relaxing and nourishing for the skin. Remember, your baby’s skin is very delicate so ensure that you don’t use raw essential oils directly onto the skin, just use a small amount of our blends and your baby’s skin will keep that lovely, fresh and smooth as a baby’s you not what feel!
- Organic coconut, olive and calendula oils, lavender water, aloe vera and comfrey extracts are all there to soothe, moisturise and also heal any little dry skin problem area. Coconut oil for the skin has been used for hundreds of years and it’s such an amazing product to work with because you can see the results almost immediately.
Feeding our babies skin with natural products is just as important as feeding our babies naturally. Not only are these essential oils soothing to the skin, they’re also incredibly relaxing for the mind. When you’re giving your baby it’s very own baby massage, they’ll feel peaceful and relaxed and if you take in a lovely deep breath in and exhale a long breath out, you’ll feel more serene and relaxed too. Perfect and just in time for a nap for baby and why not you too? I’m sure you deserve it.
